In 1951, Carmin J. and Henrietta (Ochrymowicz) Moutinho founded
Ludlow Funeral Home. Both came from families with a deep history in the area
that helped build a highly regarded community.

founding members of Our Lady of Fatima Church and owners of the former Essex
Street Market.
Henrietta was the daughter of Henry and Caroline (Tlusty)
Ochrymowicz.

Her parents were the owners of the Indian Orchard Funeral Home making Henrietta
a second generation funeral director. Her mother was the owner of Modern Bridal
in Indian Orchard. Both Carmin and Henrietta graduated from the New England
Institute of Anatomy, Embalming and Funeral Directing. They took great pride in
building their business into the distinguished establishment it is today.
In 1979, their two sons Carmin J. Moutinho Jr. and Mark Moutinho, took over the
business and continued to provide the same quality of dignified service as
their parents before them. Both Carmin Jr. and Mark also graduated from the New
England Institute of Anatomy Embalming and Funeral Directing. Today, along with
her father, Mark's daughter Kelli
Moutinho-McKenney continues in the same renowned tradition, providing an
unsurpassed level of service that is unique to a family owned firm.
