Precautions to Take During a Time of Loss

Due to the public notification of a funeral service, it may be necessary to take extra precautions during this time: Be sure that you home is secured; If possible, have someone stay at your home while you are attending the services; If your home is left unoccupied, be sure to leave on some light and perhaps a radio or television; Ask neighbors to keep a look out for any unusual activity; Notify your local police of funeral arrangements; Do not post signs in a place of business stating "closed due to a death in the family" etc.
