My grandpa was the best, he made me he laugh, he taught me how to cut the grass came to all my birthday parties and when I was sick he was there for me.He drove me to school and took me to the doctors. So that's why he is the best grandpa to me.I will miss him, and when I miss him I will look at the sky and I will see him.

My Dad was the best person I had the fortune of being blessed with. He taught me about integrity, values and faith up until the very end of his life. He always put his family first and sacrificed always for us. I will miss him so much and he will always be a part of me. He is now in heaven and will continue to watch over us as a guardian angel.

I remember going to the house in Ludlow and our family get together where, we as kids, played with each other and our parents drank, ate, and sang old Portuguese songs. The last time I was there, he took me and my dad to his private outdoor wine-cellar, I got to drink his homemade wine. I remember Benedito as always being such a happy person who enjoyed his family and life soo much, never forgotten, and always missed. He now looks down on us with my dad by his side in heaven, both holding a glass of wine in one hand, and some hot buttered Portuguese bread in the other....

My family and I wanted to let you know that you have our greatest sympathy, and our hearts are truly saddened. Your husband and father will always be with you; his spirit and good will be part of you no matter where you go. I know that you wanted, needed, and hoped for more time to spend with your father but the time you did spend with him meant so much to him. He loved you all very much and I know you will miss him terribly. We can only imagine your sorrow by Benedito's passing. Please know that our loving thoughts are with you. May the peace which comes from the cherished memories of love from your beloved husband, father and grandfather comfort you. The Hickey Family (Pam & Rod) Clotilde Tomkil

I will always remember Benedito as such a happy person always wanting you to eat and drink at the house. When we'd go to the Ludlow Festival we stopped by the house and just be welcomed into their home. I have so many fond memories. We will miss you very much.

Benedito Santos was my grandfather, father of my mother, Rosa Baruk. We had great laughs, went for walks and went out to catch some ice cream. I loved him very much; and he loved me. A tear fell out of my eye when I heard he died. I am going to miss him, I am going to miss Benedito Santos.
